ALMAS

ALMAS is a musical project that captures the soul of every genre it explores. Inspired by the Spanish word for "soul," the project delves into the emotional and artistic depth of music, particularly in the realms of Deep, Melodic, Progressive House, and Techno. ALMAS seeks to connect listeners with the heart of each genre, blending them into a powerful, immersive experience.

Behind ALMAS is Adam Jones-MacKay, a respected figure in the Bay Area’s EDM and Big Room scene. With a rich background in the industry, including his roles with Vital Events, Trance Family SF, and Dreamstate, Adam’s passion for progressive music led him to create ALMAS. He also co-founded Polaris Presents in San Francisco, further shaping the city's electronic music community.

ALMAS has shared the stage with major names like Arty, Cristoph, Genix, DOSEM, and Bob Moses. His performances have lit up iconic venues such as Audio, The Mint, The Barn, 1015 Folsom, and Avalon. He’s also brought his sound to renowned festivals, including New Bohemia, Fresh Starts NYE at Midway SF, the Anjunabeats Worldwide Tour at Halcyon SF, the E Komo Mai Festival in Hawaii, and Kausmic Festival.

Looking ahead to 2025, ALMAS is set to release his debut material, marking the next chapter in his musical evolution. This new era promises to showcase his unique ability to blend soulful, melodic, and progressive elements into a dynamic and unforgettable sound.
